Metapack is the perfect place for programming enthusiasts. We give the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies (such as AWS Services, Terraform, NewRelic, Kinesis, ELK), which allow developers to create and develop highly efficient and highly available services.
Metapack is an ecosystem of many distributed services – each of them is different, and thus the range of technologies used also varies. Each Metapack developer has an impact on the technological decisions we make and the directions of development of our services. As a result, they are a constant source of ambitious challenges.


3. Clients
Our clients are e-commerce sellers with a global reach, large brands that sell their goods online around the world on their own, as well as couriers who want to be present on a global platform that integrates the largest players in the industry in the world with e-commerce leaders.
Reasons why e-commerce decides to use the METAPACK platform:
1. Integration with one platform gives access to 500 couriers in the world.
2. The Metapack platform enriches the functionality of the seller’s store. This significantly contributes to increasing consumer satisfaction and, consequently, to increasing sales. It is about:
a) check out – Metapack, based on the address from which the goods are to be shipped and the consumer’s address, provides a list of possible delivery options (different couriers, different forms, different additional services);
b) warehouse – Metapack provides all the necessary documents and labels for shipments and ensures that the logistics operator is informed about the shipments that they will accept into its network;
c) way to the consumer – Metapack collects all information about the shipment and makes it available in one consistent format, regardless of the logistics operator. The data provided in this way is used by the seller to inform the customer about the delivery status of his orders;
d) after-sales service – the purchase of goods by consumers creates the need for efficient service. Metapack provides the documents necessary to deliver the return to the seller;
3. Reduce IT costs. You don’t have to integrate with new courier each time.
4. Reduction of logistics costs. A quick change of the logistics operator allows you to quickly switch to more cost-effective services. The awareness of this possibility reduces the temptation of couriers to increase prices.
5. Minimizing the negative effects of the courier’s troubles. If the courier is not able to handle the seller’s shipments as expected (e.g. due to overload of his own supply network), the seller can easily switch to another logistics operator.
6. Speed of entry into new markets. The process of integration with the courier, carried out by inexperienced teams, lasts from several weeks to several months. The Metapack courier in a new country can be activated in just a few days.

4. Team
We are a large company, but we are far from typical corporate schemes – we don’t race, we don’t have a multi-level structure, and we can go for a coffee with our supervisor. We work in teams, and each of these teams has its own personality, name, unique sense of humor, and a different idea for team building. They also have a lot of freedom – they make their own decisions, recruit, organize themselves under the supervision of experienced leaders. In short, our teams HAVE AN IMPACT!
They also have their daily dramas. Cheesecake with or without rasins? Pizza with pineapple or seafood? They also have different opinions, and we respect each of them, as well as the willingness to raise a constructive discussion.
We value our teams. The huge amount of introduced ideas for improvement is the result of their bottom-up initiative. Experience, seniority or position doesn’t matter – we trust each other, we are partners. We believe team culture is created by positive behavior, not rules. The role of leaders is played by people who have the trust of our teams.
